Welcome to Rother Swim Academy.
The Learn to swim program was set up in 1990 (as Val’s swim School) in an effort to provide swimming lessons for children with working parents.

Since those early days the Academy has developed and now offers swimming lessons after school and on Saturday mornings, and employs fourteen qualified teachers/coaches and three pool assistants.

Our academy follows the Amateur Swimming Association (A.S.A.) National Plan for Teaching Swimming. (NPTS)

The teaching team is a mixture of qualified new young talent and experienced mature professionals who have acquired a vast amount of experience in many aspects of aquatic provision especially swimming. Many of our teachers have a competitive swimming background and are parents themselves.

 We were very proud receivers of an award in 2007 from Southern Water( Our sponsors) for outstanding services to children’s swimming in the local area.
